Combat style
The Feline set is light armor and the pieces raise your attack power. You fight on the move, chain fast attacks, and dodge, because the armor will not hold you up like a bear. Aard drops a group and you jump straight back into a string of hits. Treat Quen as a short safety net, not your main way to fight. When you stand still and just soak damage, you will not get much out of this set.

The four pieces add up to 388 armor. The numbers in the table apply at NG+ start + 30. After that, armor keeps scaling. The chest gains +5 for each further Geralt level, and gloves, trousers, and boots gain +2. The full set picks up +11 armor per level.
When you start NG+ at 50 and you are at level 83, you are three levels above the table. The chest is at 200, gloves at 71, trousers and boots at 75, and the total is 421.
Where to find the diagrams
You buy the map for the superior Feline set from the quartermaster at Crow’s Perch. After you read it, objectives lead you through Velen and around Novigrad.
All four armor pieces sit together in ruins by a lake southwest of the dragon slayer cave. An earth elemental guards them, so leave yourself room for a fight.
The steel sword is in a cave northeast of Novigrad at the Cave fast travel point, and a golem waits inside. The silver sword lies in a cave west of Ursten. Break the stalactite wall with Aard and the chest is behind it.
Who crafts it
An apprentice armorer or blacksmith forges it for you, and you have the list in the blacksmiths and armorers overview. You need a finished enhanced piece as material.
