The Witcher 3 — blacksmiths and armorers

Witcher 3 blacksmiths (Witcher 3 blacksmith locations) is an overview of every blacksmith and armorer by region. A blacksmith forges swords and an armorer forges armor. Without the right crafter tier they will not forge your diagram, even when you have all the materials.

On the map you spot them by the anvil icon for a blacksmith and the armor with hammer icon for an armorer. Each region has a map with pins and a crafter table. For some you must finish a quest first or clear a bandit camp.

How tiers work

For the superior Wolf armor chest you need a master armorer as an exception. School sets and armor tiers are in the armor sets overview.

By region

Pick the area you are playing in. On the card you get a map with pins and the full crafter table. Maps for Velen and Toussaint sit on separate pages.

When you need which crafter

For witcher gear up to superior tier a journeyman is enough. For mastercrafted go to Yoana and Hattori. For grandmaster only Lafargue in Beauclair. Schools and armor tiers are in the armor overview above.
