At each one Geralt draws an ability point for the first time and for a while a stronger sign. Charge the stones as you go on quests. The stones boost different signs. At one stone you draw a stronger Igni and at another you draw a stronger Yrden or Quen.

On the map above there are six stones in Velen. One stands by Crow’s Perch. You find more in the swamps to the east or by the wrecks on the coast. On Bald Mountain there is another stone. The last one lies north toward Oxenfurt. Wandering in the Dark opens one of the stones. At the stone hold the button until the point appears. When you do not have the stones on the map yet, notice boards at the crossroads mark them with question marks.
