The Witcher 3 — Witcher Wannabe

Witcher 3 Witcher Wannabe is a secondary quest in Lindenvale in Velen (Witcher Wannabe). First finish the contract The Merry Widow at the cemetery, where you kill the grave hag Mourntart. After a few in-game days (five is fine) a complaint about another “witcher” shows up with the ealdorman.

On the notice board in Crow’s Perch the note Witcher wanted! may hang. The quest only starts once you talk to the ealdorman in Lindenvale.

Walkthrough

You find the ealdorman by the notice board, he has a yellow exclamation mark. He complains about the guild and about a guy who took a monster job, lived two days off the village’s gift, and slept with his daughter, who fell in love with him. Agreeing to the quest sends you to the same cemetery east of the village where you already were.

On the hill one ghoul is running around. Once you take it down, go behind the crypt. The fraud is hiding with a fake wolf medallion on his neck and thanks you for saving his life.

Two villagers arrive and wonder why one ghoul needed two witchers. Here you choose what to do with him.

What to do with the fraud

You can expose him in front of the villagers, or cover for him and say the job needed two. It has no effect on the rest of the story and the XP is the same.

When you cover for him, the game asks about the punishment.

Closing
